Step 1: Pick Up Your Free Summer Reading Bookmark.

 

Stop by any of our partner locations to pick up your free Summer Reading bookmark. This is your official stamp card. Hold on to it all summer!

Step 2: Earn Your Stamps (12 total possible)

  1. Attend a Read for Joy story time at Pike Farmers Market (1 stamp per visit, 6 opportunities)

  2. Visit Black Worldschoolers Mobile Bookstore (1 stamp)

  3. Visit The Botanical Bar (1 stamp)

  4. Visit Pike Farmers Market (1 stamp)

  5. Read 3 books this summer (2 stamps per book, 6 stamps total)

  6. Read a book from our summer reading list and submit a short written or video review (3 bonus stamps, one time only)

Step 3: Redeem Your Prizes.

 

Redeem your stamps at any story time event throughout the summer. Save them up for a bigger prize or redeem as you go!

  • 3 stamps = Level 1 prize

  • 6 stamps = Level 2 prize

  • 9 stamps = Level 3 prize

  • 12 stamps = Level 4 prize​
